Trash Bag pick up is tomorrow, Nov. 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These are the trash bags from the recent PTO Fundraiser.

No School Monday and Tuesday, November 21-22
Thanksgiving break will be extended to include Monday and Tuesday of next week. With the consistent wave of absences for our students and staff due to various sicknesses, we feel this will give everyone the best opportunity for a healthy Thanksgiving celebration. Practices and games previously scheduled for Monday and Tuesday will be rescheduled and communicated at a later date. Thank you!

The Fall Sports Banquet is Tuesday, November 15th in Bunceton. This is to honor all Fall Sports.

The PHS Spelling Bee that was scheduled for today at 11:00 a.m. has been rescheduled to Weds. Nov. 30th at 11:00 a.m.

Prairie Home Elementary ranked 9th in the state in subgroup math growth!
The Prime Center at St. Louis University released its Missouri Statewide Student Growth Report and recognized Prairie Home as the 9th highest growing school in subgroup math achievement on MAP assessments. Their data is based on individual student growth from year to year, which is a measure that looks beyond just achievement levels. We are so proud of our students and thankful for our teachers. This report embodies our philosophy of finding a way to get better and seek improvement each and every day.

Congratulations to Dorothy for competing in CXC State this afternoon! She ran a 24:41 and finished 95th out of 176 runners.


Don’t forget the Red and Black scrimmage is tonight at 5 PM. Fish fry begins at 5, silent auction at 6, pie auction at 7, basketball to follow! Come out and support all the kids and thank the booster club for all of their hard work!!


Beta Club Blood Drive in the Library TODAY! Units of blood collected help fund local scholarships for our Seniors. Walk-ins are welcome!
