Lunch – Chicken Patty on Bun, Seasoned Baked Potato, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Ham Sandwich

Fri: Breakfast – Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll-up w/Sausage Links or Cereal, Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Vegetable Soup, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Grilled Cheese

Congratulations: Congratulations to Savanna Tracy who placed 14th in the District Cross Country Meet last Saturday and will now advance to the State Meet, Nov. 6th. Great job Savanna and great job to Ms. Pope and all of the Cross Country Team, Savanna Tracy, Aubree Hedgpeth, Kelcy Mullett, Wyatt Case, Landon Case, Preston Scheidt, and Will Wright, on finishing a good season with many personal and school records.

Good Luck: Good Luck to Savanna Tracy as she participates in the State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Nov. 6th at the Gans Creek Course in Columbia at 9:00 a.m.

Veterans Day Program: Please join us at our Veterans Day Program on Thursday, Nov. 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the PHS gym. All veterans and their spouses are also invited to a Meet & Greet at 12:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to all our veterans who served our country and to their families who kept the home fires burning while their loved ones were serving.

Book Fair: Please note the attachment concerning our Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair will continue through Nov. 12th.

Food Shortages: Due to the food shortages and inability to receive some of our orders from our grocery suppliers, starting in Monday, Nov. 1st our alternate choices for lunch will be the same choices according to which day of the week: Monday – PB&J, Tuesday – Turkey Sandwich, Wednesday – Chef Salad, Thursday– Ham Sandwich, Friday – Grilled Cheese. These choices are reported on our November menu but we look for this to continue for several months.

Yearbooks on Sale: YEARBOOKS ARE ON SALE NOW! Yearbooks will now be FALL Books. The entire year of 2021-2022 will go into this year’s book, as well as the spring activities from last year. Books will then be delivered next fall of the 2022-2023 school years. Yearbooks are now on sale for $25.00 until after Dec. 22nd at which time the cost will increase to $30.00. Order online by credit card or to personalize your yearbook at www.yearbookforever.com or order with the attached order form in the weekly newsletter to pay by cash or check. This order form will need to be returned to the school.

Breakfast and Lunch Cost: The free breakfasts and lunches for all students have been extended throughout the 2021-2022 school year. If they want to buy “extras”, those will be charged to the student. A small extra is .75 and a large extra is $1.00.

Student Pick-Up: If you need to change your student’s plans for the end of the day (they will be picked up, need to ride a different bus, etc.) please call the school office before 1:00 p.m. to make those changes.

Medication: All medication, both over-the-counter as well as prescription, must be given to the school nurse. Serious consequences may result if a student is found with any drugs including over the counter or prescription. First offense may result in 10 days of O.S.S. Over-the-counter or prescription drugs may not be kept in purses, pockets, book bags, lockers or anywhere else on school grounds. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Simmons at 660-841-5296.

Food Service: Please be sure and keep your student’s Food Service accounts up to date. Account balance summaries will be sent home every Friday (if your student has a negative balance it will be in parentheses). If a student’s balance is negative, they will not be allowed “extras”.
